Workshop Tomorrow 10/15! Review Draft Recommendations + Bring the Kids…

TOMORROW NIGHT is your chance to review and comment on draft recommendations for the City’s Comprehensive Plan! Join us at the O’Connor Community Building (733 N. Prospect Ave) from 6-7:30pm tomorrow, Tuesday, October 15th, for our next Community Workshop.

Workshop Festivities: We will be highlighting the results of Poll 2 along with innovative insights shared by 100+ Park Ridge Middle Schoolers — they were honest! Workshop activities will be focused on reviewing draft recommendations, identifying top priorities, and sharing additional thoughts, including ideas on districts and corridors outside of Uptown (i.e. the Dee Road Station Area, South Park, etc.) Kids and teens are welcome! RSVP via Facebook today – click here or button below!

Sneak Peek, Poll 2 Results: What say you, Park Ridge, about your entertainment wish-list?

Family Activities Meet Date Night! When it comes to entertainment, it is clear the majority of Park Ridge residents prioritize activities that are all-inclusive and family-friendly – from outdoor events to indoor activities! Over 600 people (of the 950+ who responded to Poll #2) said that having Family-Oriented Activities is one of their top 3 priorities for local entertainment. However, you also look forward to opportunities to get out on the town to enjoy some date-night fun and get-togethers with friends. Input here centered on the desire for more (1) Casual Dining/Brewpubs, (2) a Concert/Performing Arts Venue or Flexspace, and (3) Experiential Classes (i.e. Glass Blowing, Terrarium Building, Dance Classes, Calligraphy, etc.).

More to come, tomorrow!

We look forward to seeing and hearing from you tomorrow (Tuesday, October 15th) at the Park Ridge Wonderful Workshop, RSVP today via the Facebook Event page.
